Your Haliburton Morning – Heather Sargent

Start your Tuesday morning off with Canoe FM and Heather Sargent. We have news at 7am and then again at 8am. We look at road reports, bus cancellations, weather updates and lots of community events.  The Birthday Club happens every weekday morning at 7:45, so get those greetings into the station in lots of time.  Often Heather will have an interview on a relevant community issue. Opera Night in Canada or Favourite Music 6-7pm

On the 3rd Thursday of every month you will enjoy our Opera Night in Canada hosted by Dawn Martens. This is a pre-recorded, one hour show. Dawn will focus on Canadian talent and will relate it to popular culture and movies. (among other things). This show will combine opera music with history, anecdotes and interviews. Past episodes of Opera Night in Canada are available to listen to online on Canoe FM.

Dawn is a writer for Opera Canada for over 20 years, she is currently the host of Opera Night in Canada on 100.9 Canoe FM.
