Mark Tara is your guide through RAINBOW COUNTRY, a show that offers a blend of music & interviews giving voice to the LGBT community
An ever-changing mix of music that considers eclectic to be mundane; anything from turnof-
the 20th Century pre-folk & blues to modern day skronk & swirl, 50’s garage, 60’s
psychedelica, punk, new wave, no wave, modern lovers & angular chords, chart scrapers &
dented tunes fit for all you bad boys n girls who are sick of the same ol’ and think bedtime
is for saps.
A nice mix of gospel music for your Sunday morning enjoyment.
During the Gospel Hour you will also here a story read by Eleanor Cooper Eleanor’s anecdotes or stories aim to be pleasant, humorous sometimes, tales of long ago or now with some spiritual content. Eleanor loves to read aloud and sometimes a fondness of poetry comes out.
You will also hear Word Nuggets which provides us with inspirational readings by Rev Bev.
Start your morning off with Canoe FM. We have news at 7am and then again at 8am. We look at road reports, bus cancellations, weather updates and lots of community events. The birthday club happens every weekday morning at 7:45, so get those greetings into the station in lots of time. Often the host will have an interview on a relevant community issue.
