Music or Interview
After Nine – Deborah Dack
I was raised in the Haliburton Highlands. Growing up, one of my favourite things to do was listen to the radio. Like many who grew up here, I left the community for college and career, neither of which was in any way related to radio. Now that I’m back in the Highlands I’m finally taking to the airwaves! I hope that you will join me Monday Mornings from 9-11 here on the Canoe.
You can expect weather and road reports, community events, a variety of speaking topics, the occasional special guest from the community, and, of course, great music. All that in a 2 hour show!
I want to hear about your weekend and what you have planned for the week. Text me at the station at 705-457-1009.
I love living in the Highlands and I know that you love living here too!
Let’s start the week off together with a smile.
Happy Monday!

Canada Rocks
Join in every Monday evening from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM when we will celebrate 6 decades of great rock music by Canadian artists. We will check out bands from the 1960s like The Guess Who and The Band right through to the 2020s where we’ll check out the latest from Kim Mitchell and Billy Talent – and we won’t miss anything in between. When Canadian rock artists release new music, we’ll make sure to check that out as well and we will sprinkle in some interesting information about Canadian bands and musicians. I’ll be your host – Les King. Looking forward to spending Monday evenings together.
If you would like to contact this Les directly during his show you can do so by texting 705-457-1009.
If you have some great Canadian Rock music that you think Les would enjoy playing on his show, please reach out to him as well.
