The Township of Minden Hills remains in a state of emergency, however, several Township facilities have reopened on Monday, April 14, 2025.
The Township Administration Office (7 Milne St.) is open on Monday, April 14, 2025. Township staff resources have been allocated to the emergency, however, some staff resources are gradually being directed back to the Township Office, as we slowly work our way back to resuming regular services.
SG Nesbitt Memorial Arena (55 Parkside St.) starting on Monday, April 14, 2025, the Arena will see the return of some of the regular programs including:
• Current ice user bookings to restart (Figure Skating, Men’s Leagues, etc.) on their booked time and dates
• Fitness Centre and walking track will be open regular hours 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Registered Adult and Youth programs (fitness classes, and youth recreation programming)
Note on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 the drop-in programs for adult and youth will resume. The facility will also begin to accept new bookings for ice, gymnasium and the community rooms on April 22.
Minden Hills Cultural Centre (176 Bobcaygeon Rd.) will reopen on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 for regular programming.
